4700 gallons of hydrochloric acid spilled out a drilling site last week about 80 miles northeast of Scranton!
According to the Timesleader.com, the spill happened on July 4th. There are currently no reports of contamination of the local waterways, but DEP and local clean-up crews plan to sample the local drinking water on Tuesday.
